California SCA 14 was on the ballot as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment in California on November 3, 1908. It was approved.

A "yes" vote supported this constitutional amendment to increase salaries for the following state officers:

  • governor, from $6,000 to $10,000;
  • lieutenant governor, from $10 per legislative day to $4,000 per year;
  • attorney general, from $3,000 to $6,000; and
  • all others, from $3,000 to $5,000.

A "no" vote opposed this constitutional amendment, thereby not increasing the salaries of state officers.
