Calvin K. Murashige
Calvin K. Murashige was a judge of the Kaua`i Fifth Circuit Family Court of Hawaii. He joined the court on June 25, 1999 and retired from the court December 31, 2010.[1]
Career
Judge Murashige began his legal career working in the deputy attorney general's office. He then worked as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Kaua'i County until 1980, when he entered the private practice as an associate attorney with the firm of Shiraishi & Yamada. He later became a partner, forming the firm of Shiraishi, Yamada & Murashige and, later the firm Shiraishi & Murashige. He worked in this capacity until his judicial appointment and handled personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and commercial litigation cases.[2][3]
