Camara Banfield
Camara Banfield is a judge for the Clark Superior Court in Washington. She was appointed to the court on January 19, 2021, by Gov. Jay Inslee (D) to replace Bernard Veljacic. She was sworn in on February 5, 2021. Banfield is the first woman of color to serve on the court.[1][2]
Education
Banfield earned both her undergraduate degree and her J.D. from the University of Oregon.[1]
Career
From 2004 to the time of her appointment, Banfield served as a deputy criminal prosecutor with the Clark County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.[1]
