Fondren ran for election to the Mississippi Chancery Court.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 22.4 percent of the vote. She competed against Glenn Alderson and Tina Duggard Scott. [1]

Fondren earned her B.A. in marketing from the University of Mississippi in 1980. She earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi in 1993.[2]
