Fondren ran for election to the Mississippi Chancery Court.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 22.4 percent of the vote. She competed against Glenn Alderson and Tina Duggard Scott.

Fondren earned her B.A. in marketing from the University of Mississippi in 1980. She earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi in 1993.[2]
