Andrews provided the following statement for the 2013 Local Voters' Pamphlet in Snohomish County:[5]
|
"Six years' experience on the Everett School Board has cemented my belief that the success of our public schools determines the quality of our community and the future of society. Success looks different for each student and is based on equal opportunity and access to learning through all years of education. As a member of your school board, I helped develop and implement a strategic plan that drives the District's work in preparing each student to be a lifelong learner, critical thinker, effective communicator and to possess skills necessary to compete locally and globally upon graduation. I am the proud parent of four EPS graduates and understand the challenges in providing each student a successful education. With your vote, you have my commitment to continue to be an effective voice for taxpayers in creating a positive future for our children and community." |
