Fink ran for election to the Nassau County Court.
Primary: She was defeated in the Independence primary on September 9, 2014, receiving 15.1 percent of the vote. She competed against Steven M. Jaeger, Tammy S. Robbins, Terence P. Murphy, William J. O'Brien and Fran Ricigliano. Additionally, she ran on the Democratic, Working Families and Green party lines, though there were no primaries for those parties.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 15.6 percent of the vote. She competed against Steven M. Jaeger, Tammy S. Robbins, Terence P. Murphy, William J. O'Brien and Fran Ricigliano for three open seats.

Fink received her undergraduate degree in 1989 and a J.D. in 1992 from Syracuse University.[3]
