Cely A. Brigman is a family court judge in the 4th Judicial Circuit in South Carolina. She was elected by the South Carolina General Assembly in May 2015 and re-elected on February 2, 2022.[1] She was previously a magistrate judge in Darlington County.[2]

Education

Brigman received a bachelor's degree in public affairs from Columbia College in 1983 and a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1985.[2]

Career

Brigman was elected to the family court in 2015. She served as chief magistrate judge of Darlington County from 2004 to 2015. She also spent 29 years as an attorney in private practice.[2]
