Charles W. Kuster Jr. is a district court judge for the 18th District Court, which presides over Harrison, Nicholas, Pendleton, and Robertson counties in Kentucky. He was appointed to the court by Governor Steve Beshear on May 13, 2010, to fill the vacancy left by Jay Brett Delaney.[1][2]

Kuster was re-elected by voters in 2010 and 2014.[1][3]  His four-year term expired on January 6, 2019.[4]

General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [5] 

2010

Kuster was elected to the 18th District Court. He defeated challenger Peter Newberry with 55.49 percent of the vote on November 2, 2010.[6][3]

Education

Kuster received both his undergraduate degree and his J.D. from the University of Kentucky.[7]

Career

At the time of his appointment to the bench, Kuster was practicing law privately.[1]
