Chet A. Tharpe
Chet A. Tharpe was a judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was elected to the court on September 4, 1990, taking office the following January, and was re-elected in 2008 and 2014.[1][2][3][4] His six-year term would have expired on January 4, 2021.[5]

Tharpe ran for re-election to the Thirteenth Circuit Court.
As an unopposed candidate, he was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot.

Education
Tharpe received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of South Florida. After working as an accountant for three years, he attended the South Texas College of Law.[2]
Career
Tharpe worked as a lawyer prior to joining the circuit court in 1991.[2]
