Christopher R. Lipscomb was a 2011 candidate for Milwaukee County Circuit Court.

2012 election

Lipscomb ran unsuccessfully as a third-time candidate for the Milwaukee County Circuit Court against Carolina Maria Stark and incumbent Nelson W. Phillips, III.[1][2]

Lipscomb received his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from Marquette University.[3]

Career

Lipscomb served as an appointed judge in Fox Point from December 2006 to April 2007. Before that he was a municipal prosecutor in Milwaukee County. He has been an attorney in private practice since 1991.[3]

Lipscomb ran for election to the Milwaukee County Circuit Court in 2011. He won 33 percent of the vote in the primary, advancing him to the general election. He was defeated by Pedro Colón on April 5, 2011, receiving only 41 percent of the vote.[4][5][6]

Lipscomb was up for re-election to the Milwaukee County Municipal Court in 2010 and was re-elected.[7]
