Clark V. Richardson
Clark V. Richardson is a judge for the New York County Family Court in New York. He was first appointed to this position in 1995 and was reappointed in 2004. Richardson was most recently reappointed by Mayor Bill de Blasio on April 27, 2015, for a term that will expire in 2025.[1] He has also served as an acting justice of the New York County Supreme Court since 2000.[2]
Education
Richardson received his B.A. from Yale University in 1977. He received his J.D. from the Cornell School of Law in 1980.[2]
Career
Richardson began his career in 1980 as an attorney of the N.Y.C. Law Department. He then served as borough chief of the Bronx County Law Department in the Family Court of N.Y.C. from 1987 to 1994. In 1995, he was appointed to the Family Court. He was appointed an acting supreme court justice in 2000 and served as the supervising judge of the Family Court from 2000 to 2009.[2]
