Colin Patrick Long is an associate circuit court judge for the 25th Judicial Circuit Court in Missouri. Long is also the son of former Judge Douglas E. Long Jr.[1]

He was re-elected to the 25th Judicial Circuit Court in 2014 for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[2]

Education

Long graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-Rolla and received his J.D. from Oklahoma City University Law School.[3]

Career

In 2004, Long was appointed by Governor Bob Holden as associate circuit judge of Pulaski County. After law school, he was a partner of the law firm Smith Turley Long.[3]

Primary: He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 5, 2014.
General: He defeated Jeff Thomas in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 61 percent of the vote. [2][4]

Long ran unsuccessfully for election to the 25th Judicial Circuit Court, Division 1. He was unopposed in the August primary, but was defeated by Bill Hickle in the November 6th election.[5][6][7][8]
