Dana L. Rasure
Dana L. Rasure was a federal bankruptcy judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Northern District of Oklahoma. She was appointed on June 3, 1997, and retired on May 1, 2022. She was elevated and served the court as chief judge from 1997 to 1999, 2001 to 2003, and 2006 to 2010. Rasure was the first woman to be appointed as a bankruptcy judge in Oklahoma.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
Education
Rasure earned a bachelor's degree at Washburn University and a J.D. at the University of Michigan.[9]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Rasure worked at a private practice firm for 20 years, where she concentrated in bankruptcy, banking law, and commercial litigation.[10]
