Daniel M. Burlew was a district court judge for the 6th District Court, which presides over Daviess County in Kentucky.[1] Burlew was appointed to the court in October 2009 by Governor Steve Beshear to fill the vacancy left by Joseph Castlen, who was elevated to the circuit court.[2]

Burlew was re-elected without opposition in 2010 and 2014, and his four-year term expired on January 6, 2019.[3] [4]

Career

At the time of his appointment to the bench, Burlew was the first assistant attorney with the Daviess County Attorney’s office.[2]
