Martindale ran for election to the Washington County Court.
Primary: He was defeated in the Republican primary on September 9, 2014, receiving 34.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Adam D. Michelini and Catherine A. Burkly. He also cross-filed to run on the Conservative and Independence party lines, but lost those primaries with 20.5 percent and 30.4%, respectively.
