Darryl Fingers
Darryl Fingers was a 2015 nonpartisan candidate for District 1 of the Toledo City Council in Ohio. The general election took place on November 3, 2015.
The Toledo city charter required that candidates be mailed a letter informing them of their nomination and that they had to reply within five days in order to be listed. Fingers was initially decertified from appearing on the 2015 ballot for missing this deadline, but the Lucas County Board of Elections rescinded the decision one day later.[1]
Biography
Fingers is a former aircraft mechanic who has also worked for the Lucas County Board of Elections. In 2011, he ran unsuccessfully for the District 1 City Council seat.[2]

The city of Toledo, Ohio, held elections for mayor and city council on November 3, 2015. A primary election in the city council races took place on September 15, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was July 21, 2015.[3] In the District 1 race, incumbent Tyrone Riley and Jennifer L. Scott defeated Darryl Fingers in the primary election. Riley defeated Scott in the general election.[4][5]
