David Blevins
David Blevins was a judge for the Conasauga Judicial Circuit in Georgia. He was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal in 2012 to replace retired judge Robert Adams.[1] He ran unsuccessfully for re-election in 2014 and retired at the end of his term on December 31, 2014.[2]

General: He faced Scott Helton and Jim Wilbanks in the general election on May 20, 2014.
Because no candidate received 50 percent of the vote, Blevins and Wilbanks competed in a runoff election on July 22, 2014. Blevins received his J.D. from the University of Georgia.[1]
Career
Prior to his appointment to the superior court in 2012, Blevins was a private practice attorney.[1]
