The most important part of being an elected official is knowing what your constituents want. We are representatives not rulers.
I am great at hearing both sides of an argument. As a third party Councilman, I will be able to mediate conversation between both parties and work toward mutually beneficial solutions for everyone.
Doing what is best for those that you represent, not those that donated to your campaign.
I will leave a legacy of forward thinking and tri-partisanship. I want the New York City to stop being reactionary and start being proactive.
The first major event I remember was September 11th. I was four years old and at home with my mother and my older sister and we watched the second tower get hit on live TV.
My first job was a summer camp counselor. I worked there for five years and left as their Waterfront Director.
On our first date she told me I needed to stop smoking and actually threw my cigarettes away in the middle of Prospect Park.
Christmas. It's very close to my birthday and my sister's birthday is on the 23rd. My family usually makes the whole week awesome with two cakes and lots of cookies and I always get to see my extended family.
My favorite book is To Save a Life. It talks about what real friendship is and how to cultivate it.
My stove. I love to cook and I love to eat even more.
