David A. Lovett was the Democratic candidate for District 49 of the Rhode Island House of Representatives. The primary election was on September 14, 2010, and the general election took place on November 2, 2010.

Lovett defeated Kevin Mitchell in the September 14 Democratic primary and was defeated by incumbent Republican Brian Newberry in the November 2 general election.[1][2]
