Deanne L. Darling
Deanne L. Darling is a former judge of the Clackamas County Circuit Court in Oregon.[1] The court has jurisdiction over Clackamas County and is located within the 5th Judicial District. Darling was first appointed to the trial bench in 1995, and was the first woman to hold that position in her district.[2] Darling retired on June 30, 2017.[3]
Education
Darling earned her B.S.W. from Colorado State University, and her J.D. from Lewis and Clark College.[4]
Career
Prior to being appointed to the bench in 1995, Darling was an attorney in private practice for 16 years. For eight years during her private practice, she was a traffic and misdemeanor judge. She also served as a pro-tem trial judge prior to her appointment to the full-time judicial position.[2]
