Deborah Neese
Deborah Neese was a family court judge for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in South Carolina.[1] She was elected to the court on February 7, 2007, and assumed the bench on July 1, 2007.[2][3] Neese retired from the court on June 30, 2017.[4]
Education
Neese received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in 1973 and her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1980.[2]
Career
After graduating from law school, Neese served as a staff attorney for both the South Carolina Supreme Court and the South Carolina Court of Appeals. She has also served as a law clerk for former Chief Judge Alexander M. Sanders, Jr. of the South Carolina Court of Appeals. More recently, Neese worked as an associate at the firm of McKay & Guerard and served as both an assistant attorney general for the state of South Carolina and as a staff attorney for its Child Support Enforcement Division from 1996 to 2006.[2]
