Dennis McKinney
Dennis McKinney was a 2017 Democratic special election candidate who sought election to the 4th Congressional District of Kansas.[1]
McKinney was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 117 of the Kansas House of Representatives.
Biography
McKinney was born in Greensburg, KS. He graduated from Wichita State's MPA program in 1984. He is married to Jean McKinney.[2]
Elections
2017
McKinney sought election to the 4th Congressional District of Kansas in the 2017 special election.[1] He was not chosen as the Democratic Party nominee.[1][3]
2012
McKinney ran in the 2012 election for Kansas House of Representatives District 117. He was unopposed in the August 7 Democratic primary and was defeated by John L. Ewy (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[4][5]
