Primary: He was successful in the Democratic primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 43.1 percent of the vote. He competed against Ron Graham and Mitchell D'Amico.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 37.9 percent of the vote. He competed against John P. O'Donnell.

LoConti received his undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University and his J.D. degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.[3][4]
Career
LoConti practices law with the firm of Connick and Associates in Cleveland, Ohio. He specializes in civil and criminal litigation.[3]
