Dwayne Vance was a 2014 American Independent candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Utah.[1] Dwayne Vance lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

A Utah native, Vance graduated from West Jordan High School. He earned his B.A. from the University of Utah in accounting and went on to earn his J.D., cum laude, from Brigham Young University.[2]

Professionally, Vance has practiced law in Park City, Utah since 1995. His law practice focused on real property, business organizations and transactions, nonprofit organizations and estate planning.[2] In addition to working as an attorney, Vance wrote a weekly column on University of Utah sports for the St. George News entitled "Bleeding Red" and was a partner in a real estate development company that was working on a project in Highland, Utah, at the time of his candidacy.[3] Vance also co-founded the Buy Back America Radio program with Tim Aalders, which has evolved to Aalders' current show on K-TALK: Freedom’s Voice Media.[2]
