Emily Lieberman is a judge of the Colorado 17th Judicial District. She assumed office on August 15, 2020. Her current term ends on January 9, 2029.

Gov. Jared Polis (D) appointed her on July 24, 2020, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Edward C. Moss.[1]

Biography

At the time of her appointment, Lieberman was a Colorado State Public Defender in the Brighton Regional Office. Before that, she served as lead public defender, senior public defender, and deputy public defender.

Lieberman received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her B.A. from McGill University.[1]
