Ernest Jones (Florida)
Ernest M. Jones, Jr. was a judge of the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He served in the Felony Division. He was elected to the court on November 7, 2006 (effective the following January) and his term expired on January 7, 2013.[1][2][3][4][5]
Education
Jones received his B.A. degree (in English) from the University of Florida in 1970 and his J.D. degree from Florida State University in 1979.[3]
Career
Jones began his career as a clerk for a judge of the 2nd District Court of Appeal. He then worked for a law firm for a few years before starting his own practice. In 2006, he was elected to the circuit court.[3]
