Federal Judge Speaks About Judicial Vacancies

Lincoln, Nebraska: United States District Court for the District of Nebraska Judge Joseph Bataillon has spoken out about the large number of judicial vacancies within the federal court system.[1]
University of Nebraska College of Law was the site of Judge Bataillon's presentation "Our Courts in Crisis," which he presented at 12:10 pm, this past Wednesday, April 11th, 2012. Judge Bataillon's presentation addressed the large number of vacancies, as well as the nomination process.[1]
Vacancies of the federal court seats are or are expected to be around 10%, with thirty-two vacancies that have already been declared "judicial emergencies" by the Administrative Office of the United States Courts.[1]
