Foley concedes Connecticut governor's race to Malloy

Breaking News: Democrat Dan Malloy is the Governor-elect of Connecticut.

Hartford, CONNECTICUT: Citing advice from counsel that no matter how disputed ballots are handled he can't make up his vote deficit, Republican Tom Foley has conceded the gubernatorial race to Dan Malloy.
Malloy, along with Lt. Governor-elect Nancy Wyman, will succeed Republican Jodi Rell as Connecticut's 73rd chief executive.
Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz by certify the election by November 23rd. Malloy's current edge in slightly over 5,000 votes.
