Fran Lubow
Fran Lubow is a judge for the Queens County Family Court in New York. She was appointed to the Family Court in December of 1990 and was appointed to her current position on the Queens County Family Court in 1998. She was reappointed in 2008.[1][2]
Education
Lubow attended Queens College of the City University of New York to earn a Bachelors degree and Syracuse University for a J.D.[3][1]
Career
Lubow began her career in 1981 as Chief of the Special Trial Units of the New York City Law Department, Family Court Division. She then served as a trial associate of Pearlman, Apat & Futterman from 1985 to 1987 and as General Counsel for the NYC Department of Probation from 1987 to 1990. Lubow began her judicial career in December of 1990 when she was appointed to the Family Court. She served briefly in 1998 on the New York City Civil Court and then joined the Family Court of Queens County.[1]
