Francis Caiazza
Francis X. Caiazza was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He was first appointed to this position in 1994.[1]
Education
Judge Caiazza was born on October 27, 1935. He earned a B.A. from Duquesne University in 1958, and a LL.B. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1961.[2]
Career
After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh Law in 1961, Judge Caiazza served in the United States Army until 1963. After leaving the Army, Judge Caiazza worked in private practice in New Castle, PA beginning in 1963. He continued his private practice until his appointment as a Federal Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania on June 1, 1994. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Duquesne University’s School of Law.[3]
