G. Richard Singeltary

G. Richard Singeltary is a judge of the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court in Lake County, Florida. He was appointed to this position by Governor Bob Martinez on October 5, 1989, taking office the following January 8.[1][2] He was re-elected in 2014, winning a six-year term that expires on January 4, 2021.[3][4]

Education
Singeltary received his bachelor's degree in history from Washington and Lee University. He then received his J.D. degree from the Stetson University College of Law.[1]
Career
Singeltary worked in the 5th Circuit State Attorney's Office for 10 years before he became a judge. He served on the Lake County Court prior to his appointment to the Fifth Circuit Court in 1989.[1]
