Gardner Goldsmith
Gardner Goldsmith was a 2014 write-in Libertarian candidate who sought election to the U.S. Senate from New Hampshire.[1] He lost to incumbent Jeanne Shaheen (D).[2] He planned to run in the Libertarian primary, but fell short of the signature requirements for getting on the ballot.[3]

Goldsmith ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. Senate, to represent New Hampshire. Goldsmith did not collect enough signatures to get his name on the ballot for the Libertarian primary on September 9, 2014, but he ran as a write-in candidate in the general election, where he lost to incumbent Jeanne Shaheen.[3][2] The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
