Gaston J. Fernandez
Gaston J. Fernandez was a county judge of the Hillsborough County Court of Florida. He was appointed by Governor Lawton Chiles in 1999. His term expired on January 8, 2019.[1][2]
Education
Fernandez received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in 1970 and his law degree from the South Texas College of Law. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1979.[1][2]
Career
Fernandez began his career in 1979 as an assistant state attorney. He then worked as a private practice attorney from 1984 until his judicial appointment in 1999.[1][2]

- 2010 Abraham Lincoln Award from the Tampa Bay American Inn of Court[2]
2012 election
Fernandez was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the Nov. 6, 2012 general election.[3][4]
