Gordon G. Cooper

Gordon G. Cooper (b. June 10, 1946) was a master-in-equity for Spartanburg County, South Carolina.[1] He retired from the court at the end of his term on June 30, 2021.[2]
Education
Cooper earned his B.A. from Carson-Newaman College in 1968. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Tennessee Law School in 1973. He also served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971. He is now married to Linda D. Cooper, and they have three children.[3]
Career
Cooper worked in private practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from 1974 to 1993. He also worked as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Oakland Park, Florida, from 1978 to 1983. He then worked in private practice as a Partner of the Law Firm of Johnson, Smith, Hibbard & Wildman from 1993 to 2004. He worked as a master-in-equity until 2021.[3]
