Greg Myer was an at-large representative on the Plano Independent School District school board in Texas. Myer won a first term in the at-large general election on May 6, 2017.

In November 2017, Myers resigned, citing personal reasons. The remaining members of the board of trustees planned to appoint a replacement to serve until the 2019 election.[1]

Four of seven seats on the Plano Independent School District board of trustees were up for at-large general election on May 6, 2017. In the race for Place 1, incumbent Tammy Richards defeated challenger Carissa Picard. The Place 2 incumbent chose not to file for re-election. Angela Powell defeated Sreedhar "Sree" Yedavalli, Amanda Jackson, and Jack Liu for the open seat. In Place 3, incumbent Nancy Humphrey defeated challengers Nathan Rylander and Yvette Jackson. Greg Myer defeated incumbent Marilyn Hinton and newcomer Trish Patterson in the race for Place 6.[2][3]
