Gregory P. Holder
Gregory P. Holder was a judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was elected to this position in August of 1996 and was re-elected without opposition in 2008 and 2014.[1][2][3] His six-year term expired on January 4, 2021.[4]

Education
Holder was born on October 2, 1953, in Mount Clemens, Michigan. He received a B.S. degree in engingeering from the U.S. Military Academy in 1975, an M.B.A. from the University of West Florida in 1978 and a J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1981.[1][6]
Career
Holder began his career in the military. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1976 to 1988 and then in the Air Force Reserve until 2004. He served in various capacities, including: engineer, part of the legal education program, assistant (and later deputy) staff judge advocate, area defense counsel and a military judge.
Holder began his civilian law career in 1988, working with the firm of Taub & Williams, P.A. In 1991, he became a partner at the law firm of Williams, Reed, Weinstein, Schifino & Mangione, P.A., where he specialized in commercial litigation, environmental law, and eminent domain law until 1995. He also served as an assistant city attorney for Temple Terrace, Fla. from 1991 to 1995. In 1994, he was elected to the Hillsborough County Court, where he took office in early 1995. He was elected to the circuit court the following year.[1][6]
