Biography
Delorme received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Minnesota State University at Moorhead. Her professional experience includes being the Assistant CFO for the North Dakota Department of Human Services and working as an accounting manager for the Mandan Park District.[1][2] She also has experience working as an accountant and a financial analyst. Delorme became a governing board member for the Missouri River Educational Cooperative in July 2015.[3]

Two of the five seats on the Bismarck Public Schools School Board were up for at-large general election on June 14, 2016.[4] In their bids for re-election, incumbents Heide Delorme and Lawrence King ran against challenger Rick Geloff.[5][6] Delorme won re-election, and Geloff defeated King for a seat on the board.[7]

Funding
School board candidates were not required to file campaign finance reports under the North Dakota Century Code.[8]
Endorsements
Delorme received no official endorsements in the election.
2012
Lawrence King and Heide Delorme won board seats without opposition in the general election on June 12, 2012.[9]
