Herbert W. Benson is a judge of the of Tift County State Court in Georgia.[1] He won election to the Tift County State Court in 2014 for a term expiring in 2018.[2][3]

Benson ran for election to the Tift County State Court.
General: He defeated J.P. Veazey in the general election on May 20, 2014, receiving 51.6 percent of the vote. [2][3]

Education

Benson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 1978 and his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1986.[4]

Career

Prior to becoming a state court judge, Benson was a private practice attorney and municipal court judge for Tifton, Omega and Sycamore, in Georgia.[4]
