Incumbents swept the general elections in Alaska's second- and third-largest school districts on October 6, 2015. Five seats were up for election with eight candidates running. All five incumbents sought and won re-election with only one formal challenger in all of the races; two certified write-in candidates also campaigned in these elections.

Residents of the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School Board also voted in favor of changing the school board structure from members being elected at-large to members being elected by district. Alternatively, voters decided against changing the regular election date to November.
