An Independence School District Revenue Exceeding Limit Measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the Independence school district area which is in both Buffalo and Trempealeau Counties.

This measure was approved

  • YES 252 Approveda
  • NO 232

This measure sought to allow the district to exceed the set revenue limit by a rate of $250,000 for a period of five years in order to allow the district to not have a budget deficit.

The second measure sought to allow the district to exceed the set revenue limit by $250,000 for one years in order to allow the district to maintain school programs and services in the district.[1]
