Julian Dale Durrance is a former judge of the Tenth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was elected to this position on September 4, 1984, and took office the following January.[1][2][3] He retired on July 25, 2016.[4]

Education

Durrance received his B.A. and J.D. from Florida State University in 1973 and 1975, respectively.[2][5]

Career

Durrance began his career in 1976 as an assistant state attorney in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. He moved to the Tenth Judicial Circuit in 1978 and worked in that capacity through 1980. He was then elected to the Polk County Court where he assumed office in January of 1981. He was elected to the circuit court in 1984.[2][5]
