James C. Hudson

James C. Hudson is a judge for the Suffolk County Court in New York. He has served in this position since 2001, following his election. He was re-elected in 2010 and his current term ends in 2020. He also serves as an Acting Justice for the Suffolk County Supreme Court.[1][2]
Education
Hudson received his B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1981 and his law degree from the New York Law School in 1984.[1]
Career
Hudson began his career in 1984 as an Assistant District Attorney of Suffolk County. He then worked as an attorney in the white collar crime bureau from 1990 to 1992 and as a law clerk to State Supreme Court Justice William Underwood from 1992 until his judicial election in 2000. He took office as a county court judge in 2001. He has also taught at Dowling College since 1993.[3]
