James Harding Morgan (Alabama)

James Harding Morgan is a district court judge in Clarke County, Alabama. He was appointed by Governor Robert Bentley in March 2011 and his current term expires in 2018.[1]
Education
Morgan received his undergraduate degree and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of South Alabama. He earned his J.D. from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2006.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Morgan was an Assistant District Attorney in Clark County.[1]

2012 election
Morgan defeated Billy Max Paul in the Democratic primary on March 13, winning 84.53% of the vote. He was elected to the court after running unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]
