Janet E. Garrow
Janet E. Garrow was a district court judge for the King County Northeast Division District Court in King County, Washington. She was first elected to the court in 1998 and served multiple terms as presiding judge.[1]
Garrow did not run for re-election in 2018 and retired at the end of her term on January 6, 2019.[2]

General: She defeated Dawn M. Bettinger in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 68.3 percent of the vote.[3]

Education
Garrow received a B.A. in psychology from Marquette University, an M.S. in counseling and personnel services from Purdue University, and a J.D. from the University of Puget Sound School of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to her election to the court, Garrow was a principal at the firm Cairncross & Hempelmann, P.S. She has also served as a Seattle public defender and as an assistant director, land use manager and assistant city attorney for the City of Bellevue.[1]
