Jarred Eib
Jarred Eib was a 2014 candidate for the Grant County Superior Court in Indiana.[1] He was denied candidacy after a challenge by the county's Republican chairman.[2]
Elections
2014
Eib filed to run for the Grant County Superior Court, No. 3 against incumbent Warren Hass. The county Republican chairman challenged his candidacy, claiming that Eib had last voted as a Democrat in 2008. Eib refuted this claim, arguing that the confusion came from an error made by the deputy clerk. The Indiana Election Commission, however, voted to remove his name from the ballot. Eib petitioned for judicial review, but his candidacy was similarly denied by Marion County Superior Court Judge Heather Welch.[1][2][3]
