Jeanne Schechter was a judge on the Superior Court of Merced County in California. She was appointed by Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on November 2, 2017.[1]

Biography

Schechter received a bachelor's degree from Ohio State University and a J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. She was a commissioner at the Merced County Superior Court from 2012 to 2017. Her professional experience also includes working as the chief deputy city attorney in Merced, a senior deputy district attorney in Stanislaus County, and as a sole practitioner.[1]
