A Jefferson County Parks & Recreation District No. 1 Tax Levy measure was approved on the April 23, 2013, election ballot in Jefferson County, which is in Washington.
This measure authorized the Jefferson County Parks & Recreation District No. 1 to impose a property tax levy of $0.15 per $1,000 of assessed valuation for six years in order to fund the operation and maintenance of Laurel B. Johnson Community Center in Coyles.
This measure required a 3/5ths (60%) majority vote for approval.[1]

“ | The Board of Commissioners for Jefferson County Parks & Recreation District No. 1 adopted Resolution #13-1, which, if approved would impose property tax levies during six consecutive years beginning in 2013, with collection beginning in 2014. Will the Jefferson County Parks & Recreation District No. 1 be authorized to impose regular property tax levies of fifteen cents ($0.15) or less per thousand dollars of assessed valuation for each of six consecutive years for the operation and maintenance of the Laurel B. Johnson Community Center in Coyle?[1][2] | ” |
