Jerry Kobishop
Jerry Kobishop was a 2016 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 8th Congressional District of Wisconsin. Kobishop dropped out of the race prior to the primary elections.[1]

Heading into the election, Ballotpedia rated this race as a race to watch. The seat was left open following incumbent Reid Ribble's (R) decision to retire. Mike Gallagher (R) defeated Tom Nelson (D) in the general election on November 8, 2016. Gallagher defeated Frank Lasee and Terry McNulty in the Republican primary on August 9, 2016.[2][3]
