Campaign website
Davis' campaign website stated the following:
“ |
My goal is to bring Accessibility and Opportunities to the District 2 Community. I will advocate for equitable ACCESS to city services to ensure our community has access to transportation, well-lit streets and passable sidewalks. I will also work to bring more healthy food options to the District. I will work with Council to bring more job OPPORTUNITIES to the District that pay our neighbors a living wage. I will also work to ensure that people in our community are equipped with the necessary tools to start businesses and successfully bid on City contracts. Additionally, I will work with other government entities and community partners to develop existing vacant properties into housing units for our neighbors that are being displaced. As a COMMUNITY, we have the power to take immediate action to make our streets safer. I will work within the bounds of the Council's power to make our community safer through the development and renewal of relationships and collaborations with our neighborhood associations and CMPD.[2] |
