Jim Davidson is a judge for the 14th Chancery District of Mississippi.[1] He was elected to the court in 2006.[2][3] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term that begins in 2015 and expires in 2018.[4][5]

Education

Davidson received a B.A. in biology from the University of Mississippi, going on to earn his J.D. there in 1974.[2]

Career

Prior to his judicial election in 2006, Davidson practiced law for 35 years, 16 of them as an arbitrator and mediator. He also worked as a tenured professor for 32 years at the Mississippi University for Women.[2]
